There's No Monster Outside: It's a Virus

By Beverly J. Irby, Rafael Lara-Alecio, Nahed Abdelrahman, Fuhui Tong, & Pam Schiller | Illustrated by Debbie Weekly
When several Texas A&M College of Education & Human Development colleagues began hearing about how the COVID-19 pandemic was affecting children, they decided to create something that might bring them comfort and help explain the current situation.
There’s No Monster Outside: It’s a Virus aims to relate to all of the changes that have occurred in children’s lives because of the virus, and explain why we’re doing things a little differently at the moment — and that those changes don’t have to be scary.
